NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Tuesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Can Am Spyder driven by Allen L. Davison, 72, Maryville, was northbound on U.S. 71 two miles west of Barnard.
The motorcycle struck a deer, traveled off the road and the driver was ejected. Nodaway County EMS transported Davison to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
