Man injured after SUV, semi crash in NW Missouri

DAVIESS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Monday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Lincoln MKX driven by a 36-year-old Grand River, Iowa, man was northbound on Interstate 35 two miles west of  Winston in the  passing lane. 

The SUV began to merge into the driving lane and struck the rear drivers side of a 1998 Kenworth semi.

Daviess County ambulance transported the driver of the SUV to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The 59-year-old semi driver from Wisconsin was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
