BUCHANAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 10a.m. Friday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Anna C. Plackemeier, 29, Cosby, was northbound on U.S. 169 four miles north of Gower.
The Chrysler rear-ended a 2000 Jeep Cherokee driven by Russell E. Plummer, 71, Gower, who was stopped in traffic. The impact pushed the Jeep into a northbound 2004 Honda Civic driven by Macy L. Chadd, 30, Cameron, who had slowed to make a left turn into a private drive.
Tri-County ambulance transported Plummer and a passenger in the 70-year-old Dianna Plummer to Mosaic Life Care. Chadd and Plackemeier were not injured. All four were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
