Harold L. Bouge, 92, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026.
He was born December 10, 1933 in St. Joseph to Harvey and Anna (Zwaduk) Bouge. Harold was a Benton High School graduate.
On June 19, 1954, Harold married Nina Marie Cline. They shared nearly 67 years together before she preceded him in death on April 6, 2021.
He was Carton Department Manager at Mead for 42 years until retirement.
Harold and Nina were the oldest charter members of Community Christian Church in St. Joseph.
Harold enjoyed fishing, duck and deer hunting, and had bowled in a league for several years. He loved time spent with family at get-togethers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina; his parents; sisters, Della Watkins and Shirley Sharp; and grandson, Walker Johnston.
Survivors include his children, Dennis Bouge (Marla) and Carl Bouge (Peggy), and Rita Johnston (Brad); grandchildren, Nathan Bouge (Megan), Amber McKnight (Jeff), Drew Roeder-Bouge (Andrew), Courtney Dykes (Travis), and Jackson Johnston (Hannah); and great-grandchildren, Gavin Bouge, Ella McKnight, Hailey McKnight, Jackson McKnight, Tritan Simpson, Penelope Johnston, Justin Nell and Joslin Nell.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 27, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
