The Apple Blossom Parade is shortening its route, citing safety concerns.
This year, the parade will begin at Noyes and Frederick, moving west along Frederick, and ending at Ninth Street.
The new route is designed to give the parade a smoother flow, per a press release.
"The Apple Blossom Parade is a celebration for the entire community, and safety remains a top priority each year,” Executive Director Michelle Wolfe said. “We want every participant and spectator to enjoy the experience from start to finish.”
Organizers also want to remind all participants to keep their entries in motion throughout the route. Vehicles with mechanical issues are being encouraged to move to the side of the street to allow the parade to continue.
The 2026 Apple Blossom Parade will take off at 9:30 AM, Saturday, May 2nd, rain or shine.
