2 from Savannah hospitalized after Andrew County crash

ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 9:30p.m. Tuesday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Nissan Pickup driven by Dalana M. Bowens, 17, Fillmore, was southbound on Interstate 29 exit ramp to Business 71. The driver failed to yield at the crossover.

A 2000 Ford Taurus driven by Michael E. Reno, 48, Savannah, struck the Nissan in the driver's side rear bumper.

Andrew County EMS transported Reno and a passenger Hannah M. Reno in the Ford to Mosaic Life Care. Bowens refused treatment at the scene. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
