ATCHISON COUNTY —Two drivers avoided serious injury following an accident that occurred just after 7a.m. Thursday in Atchison.

A 2019 Kia SUV driven by Lucas Kuhn, 29, Atchison, was southbound on 10th Street at Main Street and struck an eastbound 2017 Chevrolet SUV&nbsp; &nbsp;driven by Andrea Myers, 43, Atchison, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.

EMS was on the scene and examined both drivers but neither were transported. Kuhn was cited for failure to yield.
