St. Joseph police have identified the man found dead in the 2500 block of South 13th Street late Sunday night.
The St. Joseph Police Department identifies the man as 50-year-old Eldon Allen of St. Joseph.
Police officers were called to the area around 11 o’clock Sunday night. Officers found the body on the ground on 13th Street and began a suspicious death investigation. Officers interviewed two people at the police station. Both were released.
Police have not disclosed the cause of death. The case remains under investigation.
