Ann Louise Pile Stephens passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the age of 84. She was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Glen and Louise Pile on January 5, 1939.
She graduated from Christian College in Columbia, MO and married the love of her life, Glenn William Stephens Jr. and they had three children.
Ann was active in the St. Joe community for over 60 years including the Junior League of St. Joseph, PEO, and a successful realtor with Coldwell Banker. She was a great cook, an avid reader, enjoyed crafts of all kinds, gardening, history, storytelling and most of all animals. A pack of well-loved dogs would always greet you when you rang her door bell. Ann was a natural leader and very spirited. She lived life her way as the Frank Sinatra song says.
She is survived by her sister, Cookie Ready from Colorado; daughters Kathie Stephens of North Carolina and Cindy Santens of Japan; daughter-in-law, Diane Lindgren of St. Joseph; grandsons Josh Fasching, Ray Lindgren, Matthew Santens, and Mark Santens; granddaughters Emily Fasching and Kelly Lindgren; seven great grandchildren; nephew, Bradley Ready, and an extended family Zach, Sarah, Jackson, and Taylor Morton in Savannah.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn and her son, Sarge Stephens.
