John "Johnnie" Anderson, 90, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023. Born in Brownell, KS, on March 19, 1933 to the late John and Emma (Keil) Anderson.
He was a lifelong companion to his beloved late wife, Betty J. Graves, whom he married on June 11, 1960, their union stood the test of time until her death in 2020.
Johnnie, a United States Navy veteran, honorably served his country from 1952-1956 before transitioning into ground service with United Airlines. Johnnie's commitment to hard work and dedication reflected both in his professional life and home.
He is survived by his children Greg Anderson, Patti Sullivan, Chuck Anderson, Mark Anderson (Kathy), and Hallie Anderson. His memory will continue to be cherished by his grandchildren Jake (Tiffany), Blane (Melissa), Dylan, Jason, and Paige. Further touching the lives of his five great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, his dear wife, Betty, his son Gary, grandchild Peyton Farley, and sister Beverly Hicks.
