The amount of ethanol blended into the nation’s gasoline supply reached a record high in May, according to new data from the Energy Information Administration. The Renewable Fuels Association says the average ethanol content climbed to 11.29 percent, while the annual average reached a record 10.57 percent over the past 12 months.
