Joshua “Scott” Simons, 44, Rea, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026.
He was born September 1, 1981 to Samuel W. Pierce and Kary Lyn Simons in Sweetwater, Texas.
Scott had an incredible ability to work with his hands. He also enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester Jr. and Linda (Allen) Simons; great grandparents, Robert and Catherine Allen, Chester Sr. and Mary Lou Simons.
Survivors include his parents, Samuel Pierce and Kary Simons-Horton; aunts, Kimberly Lindsey (Ronny) and Kathy Green (David); honorary aunts, Janora Miller (Micheal) and Penny Mitchell; numerous cousins and extended family.
Cremation under the direction of Simplify Cremations & Funerals.
