Two people have been arrested after a disturbance call resulted in a single shot fired into the ground in the 23-Hundred block of Spring Street late last night.

St. Joseph police say officers responded to the call at around 11:20 last night in which one shot was fired with no one wounded.

That was one of three shootings St. Joseph officers responded to overnight.

St. Joseph police say a domestic disturbance report called last night in the 62-Hundred block of Brown Street resulted in a dog being shot and wounded. Police say the dog became aggressive during an argument and was shot.

Later in the evening, several calls were made about shots being fired in the 18th and Pattee area. The calls came in around 9:30pm. Officers in the area confirmed hearing the shots. No one has been arrested and no victims came forward.
