Virginia "Jenny" (Lynch) Keever, 85, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, in Maryville, Missouri. She was born on August 2, 1939, in Lamar, Missouri, to James W. and Daisy M. (Brandon) Lynch.

Jenny took great pride in her work as a custodian at Maryville Public Schools and Northwest Missouri State University, touching the lives of those around her through her dedication and love for the many children she encountered. She carried with her a strong work ethic and an unshakable resilience that were matched only by her compassionate heart.

She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: the gentle pace of a walk, the beauty of blooming flowers, and the joy of spending time with her beloved family. Jenny’s roots in joyous childhood memories were evident in the twinkle of her eyes when she spoke of her youthful days with the Rough Riders and her love of riding horses.

Jenny is survived by her children, Dena M. (Zimmerman) Huffine (Ed), Dewayne Zimmerman (Glenda), Tina I. (Keever) Carpenter, Theresa A. Keever; grandchildren, Valerie Lewis, Victoria Zimmerman, Chase Carpenter, Kinston Dick, and Ava Keever; great-grandchildren, Viviana and David Lee; siblings, Arlene O'Riley, Donald Lynch (Lila), and Judy Gabbert; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Daisy Lynch.

Jenny's Christian faith and her exceptional ability to see the better side of things never ceased to inspire those around her. In memory of a life so beautifully lived, her radiant spirit and infectious smile will be deeply missed, though forever remembered by all who were blessed to know Jenny.

The family would like to thank the staff at Village Care Center and Three Rivers Hospice.

Celebration of Life 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 2, American Legion, 1104 E 5th St, Maryville, Missouri.
