Deborah K. “Debbie” Allen, 69, Cummings, Kansas died Thursday February 16, 2023.
Visitation with the family will be March 25, 2023 from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Atchison Humane Society and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Debbie was born December 18, 1953, in Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of James and Mildred “Pat” Searcy Igoe. She attended and graduated from West Platte High School.
Debbie and James L. Allen were united in marriage in August 31, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She formerly worked for American Business Forms in Leavenworth, Kansas then Lockwood business Forms in Atchison, Kansas; Performance Printing in Kansas City, Missouri, Beneficial in Leavenworth, Kansas and then CMOP in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Debbie enjoyed planting flowers, tending to her garden and baking. She was famous for her cakes and brownies. She had a love for all animals and was selfless in her giving to her friends and family. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, James “Jimmy” Allen of the couple’s home; two daughters, Christy (John) Schnieders, Kansas City, MO; Deanna Manning, Atchison, KS; six grandchildren, Ethan (Jess) Schnieders, Kennedy (Jackson) Smith, Cole (Aubrianna) Gavin, Fallon Schnieders, Kayelee Manning, great grandson, Tru Schnieders, sister-in-law, Susie Burge, nephews, AJ, Blake Burge, Linda McCaslin and other extended family and friends.
