Roger D. Griggs Sr., 49, of St. Joseph, MO passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in St. Joseph. He was born September 5, 1973 in St. Joseph, son of Sharron and Gerald Griggs.
Roger enjoyed fishing and watching football.
He was preceded in death by parents, brothers, Rex Sr., Randy, Bobby and Roy Griggs.
Survivors include his children, Cecily, Roger Jr and Dakota Griggs, all of St. Joseph, brothers, Russell (Phyllis) Griggs of Marshall, MO, Rodney (Tracey) Griggs of St. Joseph, Rendell "Howdy" (Teresa) Griggs of St. Joseph, and sister, Kimberly (David) Powell of St Joseph, 2 grandchildren, Gianna and Malek and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services and public live stream will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 Wednesday. The Interment will follow at Ashland Cemetery.
