The St. Joseph Health Department announced the signing of a contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to continue providing WIC services for the federal fiscal year 2027.&nbsp; WIC provides nutrition support to eligible pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children up to age 5, including healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, screening and referrals.

·Residents interested in WIC services can contact the Health Department at 816-271-4723 or visit the WIC clinic at 904 S. 10th Street in St. Joseph.
