Candy O. Miller, 61, of Basehor, Kansas passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at her home after a brief battle with cancer. Candy was born August 13, 1962 in Kansas City, Kansas to Ordell David Stuart and Dorothy Mae Howard.
She was an ER Nurse at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, KS before she married Robert G. Miller, December 4, 1982; together they settled in Basehor with 2 children before building a summer home in the Lake of the Ozarks, residing there for many years. Candy loved traveling, playing bingo, watching Kansas City Chiefs football, boating, fishing, playing video games, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Veronica (Joshua) Donovan, Basehor, KS; Robert “Bobby” G. Miller, II, St. Joseph, MO; sister, Debbie (Martin) Kolbus, Florence, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Gloria Null, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and beloved grandchildren Liam and Finn Donovan.
Mrs. Miller has been cremated under the direction of Rupp Funeral Home, St. Joseph, MO. There will be no formal visitation or services at this time.
