The search for the next St. Joseph school superintendent has entered its final phase.
The St. Joseph School District reports 25 candidates have applied by the first of this month; 10 from outside the state.
The St. Joseph School Board will review the candidates and chose semi-finalists during an executive session this afternoon. Semi-finalists will participate in screening interviews on the 12th with finalists taking part in formal interviews on the 17th.
Superintendent Gabe Edgar announced his plan to retire at the end of the school year earlier.
