St. Joseph police have released the name of the woman killed in the train-pedestrian accident on the 14th.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as 24-year-old Guadalupe Enriquez, who was homeless.
Police reported that Enriquez walked in the path of a southbound train at the crossing near 4th and Michell Streets after 10:30 on the morning of February 14th.
Police report the conductor blew the train horn, but Enriquez did not respond.
