Two men exchanged gunfire at the intersection of 16th and Lafayette Streets, but no one was wounded in the shooting.
St. Joseph police report officers responded to the area shortly before 11 o’clock Thursday night. Police say a driver fired a couple of shots at a man walking on a sidewalk, who returned fire.
None of the shots hit either man.
The driver fled the area.
No one has been taken into custody.
