William "Bill" Davis Bailey 66, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday March 19, 2024 in a St. Joseph, MO., hospital. He was born September 3, 1957 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Bill served in the United States Marine Corp at an early age, then worked at Crete Trucking as a Truck Driver. He liked being on the road, and spending time with family at family events, and loved being Santa Claus.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Bailey, mother, Joan Lee (Pitcher) Moreno, father, Clifton Bailey, and brother John Paul Bailey. Survivors include: daughter, Marie (Steve) Ross of St. Joseph, MO, grandchildren; Eric, D'Angelo, and A'leah, great grandchildren, Tez'lynn, Eric III, A'mira, & Teddy IV, and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, Wesley, Leonard, Doran, and Alberto (Yolanda) Moreno, a sister, Mayla Moore, and several, nieces and nephews.
