St. Joseph health officials report one additional death related to COVID-19 Friday.
The victim was a woman in her 50s. Buchanan County’s death toll stands at 154. There were also 34 new cases in the county Friday for a pandemic total of 9,687.
Mosaic Life Care reports 32 patients in its system. There are 29 patients in the St. Joseph hospital and three in Maryville.
Mosaic's COVID patient number has stayed below 40 the entire week after being in the low-to-mid-90s in November.
Andrew County reports five new cases and one new death Friday for a total of 1,911 cases and 19 fatalities.
Statewide, Missouri reports 1,957 additional cases (456,530 total) and 14 new deaths (6,739 total) Friday.
Since Wednesday, Kansas has seen a jump of 2,168 cases and 61 new deaths. Doniphan County reports 894 cases (+14), Atchison County, KS reports 1,432 (+13) and Brown County reports 1,176 cases (+4).
