ATCHISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Sunday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Explorer driven by Jose A. Jimenez, 35, Omaha, was northbound on Interstate 29 just south of Clay Township and struck a deer in the passing lane.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported Jimenez to the hospital in Hamburg, Iowa. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
