Lonnie Brickey, 84, Cosby, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024.
She was born July 17, 1939 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Marvin and Nieva (Waggoner) Palmer.
Lonnie married Zane Roland Brickey on February 22, 1958. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2021.
She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and a breast cancer survivor.
Lonnie loved to maintain her house and work in the yard.
The family would like to thank Freudenthal Home Health, especially Rebecca Raya, Stephanie King, and Tasha Garza, for their excellent care of Lonnie.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Zane; her parents; and daughter-in-law, Susan Brickey.
Survivors include her children, Michael Brickey (Lou Ann), Randall Brickey (Kristin), and Nancy Hart (Randy); grandchildren, Matthew Brickey (Julie), Bradley Brickey (Beth), Sarah McCrerey (Ryan), and Travis Hart; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Ann Canchola (Mike) and Steven Palmer (Vicki); other extended family and friends; and her beloved dog, Cookie.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:00 A.M. Monday, St. Paul Lutheran. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
