A St. Joseph man is accused of assault, with peanuts.

The Camden County Prosecutor has charged 27-year-old Jacob Andes with assault, claiming Andes knew his mother’s boyfriend had a peanut allergy and put peanuts in the victim’s coffee, laundry soap, and even underwear drawer.

The Camden County Sheriff’s Department says in a news release that Andes admitted to putting peanuts in the victim’s house.
