NODAWAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Friday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 20006 Hyundai Sonata driven by Hayli J. Nagiewicz, 19, Kansas City, MO., was northbound on U.S. 71 just north of Highway M three miles west of Barnard.
The vehicle traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle traveled back across the road and the driver overcorrected again. The vehicle traveled off the east side of the road a second time, slid and overturned.
Nodaway County ambulance transported Nagiewicz to Mosaic in Maryville. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
