ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a weekend robbery in Atchison.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, the incident occurred around 4a.m. on Saturday in the 1100 block North 7th involving a 60-year-old victim.
The suspect struck the man on the head with an unknown object, took his wallet, cash, phone and keys.
The victim was treated by EMS for injuries but was not transported for further medical treatment.
