WORTH COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Saturday in Worth County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Kia Sportage driven by a 43-year-old New Market, Iowa, woman was southbound on Rote H three miles north of Sheridan. The SUV traveled off the east side of the road, struck a fence and rolled down an embankment.
A private vehicle transported the driver and a 15-year-old female passenger to Clarinda Regional Health. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
