Herbert "Doc" Franklin Patterson 89, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 in a St Joseph, MO health care center.
He was born November 28, 1936 in Unionville, MO, son of the late Nellie and AB Patterson. He graduated from Unionville High School, and he worked at Prose Inc. in Bonner Springs as a warehouse manager. He married Patricia "Pat" Wood in Leavenworth, Kansas, and she survives of the home.
"Doc" was preceded in death by his parents, step children: Debbie Howdershell, Michael Patterson, and Shelly Patterson, brothers, Albert "June" Junior Patterson, and George Patterson, two sisters, Evelyn Lloyd and Eloise Hartman, and his 1st wife, Sherrie Patterson, Survivors include: wife, Patricia "Pat" Patterson of the home, step sons, Fred and Walt Robidoux, and two sisters, Alice Denver, and Lois Glotzback.
