CALDWELL COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 9:30p.m. Friday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Freightliner semi driven by Gefthy Rither, 46, Orlando, Florida, was westbound on U.S. 36 at Panther Road two miles west of Breckenridge.
The driver lost control of the vehicle. It traveled off the south side of the road, struck a traffic sign, traveled across the intersection, overturned, returned to the road, began sliding across westbound lanes of U.S. 36 and traveled off the north side of the road.
Caldwell County EMS transported Rither to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
