A 20-year-old Elwood man drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks this past weekend.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Cornelious Anderson had been at Shady Gators Bar and Grill late Saturday night when he was seen by private security guards walking into the lake. His body was recovered Monday morning. The Camden County medical examiner pronounced Anderson dead.
Central Missouri’s Troop F reports Anderson’s death was the 5th drowning it worked in July and the 7th drowning this year.
