Stanley D. Viestenz, Savannah, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024.
Born April 2, 1955 to Duane and Lola Viestenz, he graduated from Savannah High School in 1973. Stan suffered a massive stroke in his late twenties and moved to California to be near his mother where he overcame several of life’s hurdles. He returned to Savannah and worked at Walmart until suffering a second stroke which left him a resident of Laverna Nursing Home until his death. Stan was a member of the Brookdale Presbyterian Church.
Stan was preceded in death by his father, Duane Viestenz, an uncle, Burton Viestenz, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include daughter, Brandie Viestenz, St. Joseph, daughter, Stephanie Viestenz and son, Daniel Viestenz, California. His mother, Lola Bradley, Olive Branch, MS, sisters, Deborah Clark, St. Joseph and Susan Briner, Savannah. Aunts Laura Weckerlin (Donald) who cared for Stan like a son, Marjorie Viestenz, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
