Kansas deputy found meth pipes, bong during traffic stop

BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug charges after a traffic stop.

Just after 9p.m. Thursday, a sheriff's deputy initiated a traffic stop for speeding  in the vicinity of U.S. 75 near 200th Road, according to Sheriff John Merchant.

 A probable cause search resulted in locating meth pipes, bong, as well as  meth and marijuana.  Both the driver 35-year-old George Caracostis and the passenger 24-year-old Kiara Leone both of Houston were
arrested on requested charges of Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Leone also had a Felony $10,000 Failure to Appear Warrant out of Galveston County, Texas. She remains in custody, according to online jail resords.  Caracostis was released on a $2500 bond.
