Kansas man dies, 3 injured after violent rollover crash

HARRISON COUNTY–A Kansas man died in an accident just before 5p.m. Sunday in Harrison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Kia Sorento driven by Karam J. Bedros, 65, Woodbury, Minnesota, was southbound on Interstate 35 seven miles north of Eagleville.

The SUV traveled off the west side of the road into the median, struck the emergency crossover, became airborne, rolled and came to rest on its top.

A passenger identified as Victor B. Imad, 31, Manhattan, was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported by the Harrison County Coroner to Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany.

Decatur County Ambulance transported Bedros to Harrison County Community Hospital. He was later transferred to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.  Decatur County Ambulance transported passenger Carla E. Bedros, 59, Woodbury, Minnesota to Harrison County Community Hospital. 

North Harrison Ambulance transported a third passenger Reena Bedros, 27, Woodbury, Minnesota to Lamoni Hospital. She was later air-lifted to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.  Imad and Reena Bedros were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
