Larry W. Kibler 1947 - 2023

Larry Warren Kibler, 76, of Atchison KS, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran School Endowment or the Elks National Foundation and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.

Larry was born August 24, 1947, in Atchison, KS to Warren S. and Mildred A. (Kurtz) Kibler Jr.. He was an alumnus of Atchison High School and Emporia State University. Larry served in the Air Force Reserve and Army Reserve. He worked as the Vice President of Finance and CFO of multiple companies in Atchison, KS, St. Joseph, MO, and Kansas City, MO. He was a member of First Christian Church, American Legion, NRA, and Elks Lodge #647 of which he was a Past Exalted Ruler. Larry enjoyed boating, bowling, Corvettes, drag racing, and men’s slow-pitch softball. He reminds us all to “take care of each other and have fun.”

Survivors include best friend, Debbie Schneider (Atchison, KS), two daughters, Megan Schneider (Atchison, KS) and Ashley (Justin) Bignell (Fremont, NE), and three grandchildren, Elijah, Annabelle, and Isaac, sister, Margie Campbell (Enid, OK), sister-in-law, Catherine Kibler (Buffalo, NY), niece and nephews, Natalie Goodpasture, Brad Campbell, Seth and Clayton Kibler and Doug Sousa.He is joined in heaven by his parents, brother, Michael Kibler, and brother-in-law, Roylue Campbell.
