Lois Lea Urquhart Statham, 90, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
She was born February 5, 1935 to David S. and Josephine (Dodge) McCollum in Elwood, Kansas.
The love story between Lois and her first husband, Jack Urquhart, commenced with their marriage on May 15, 1953. Their enduring partnership sadly ended with Jack's passing in 1999. Lois found love again with Thomas William Statham, and they united in marriage on July 23, 2007, until his passing in 2011.
A spirit of exploration was a beacon throughout Lois's life, as she often reminisced about her many travels with her sister. These journeys not only satisfied her curiosity about the world but also enjoyed the stories she would later share with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and all nine of her siblings.
Survivors include her son, Kenny Urquhart (Cathy); grandsons, Jack (Jenny), Jeff (Robin), and Loren Urquhart; great-grandsons, Kreed and Krew Urquhart; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
