The Dance Arts Center held it's 20th annual Chance To Dance performance over the weekend, helping to benefit the Voices of Courage Child Advocacy Center.
Dance Arts Center Director Marla Heeler reports that the event on Saturday, raised over $11,400 to help benefit Voices of Courage. The money raised goes into aiding victims of abuse with resources across the nine county region Voices of Courage serves, including Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Clinton, DeKalb, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth counties.
The event, with every dollar going to Voices of Courage, was highlighted by dance performances from the Dance Arts Center, along with several other companies from the surrounding area. It also featured a raffle and a bake sale.
