Danette Moore 2024

Danette Moore passed away May 5, 2024 at Liberty, Hospital (after an extended stay in ICU).

Danette attended East Buchanan Middle School and lived in Gower, MO her 8th grade year and spent a year of high school in Carthage, New York with her family in a military housing unit. Her family moved back to Victor, Iowa for her senior year where she graduated in May 1989. Danette played volleyball and was a cheerleader during her high school years. 

Danette was united in matrimony to Dale Patrick Lohse on August 2,1997 and they were blessed with a son. Danette obtained her nursing license shortly after graduation and she cared for- loved-and comforted hundreds of patients in nursing homes, medical facilities and care centers in Iowa and Missouri. 

 Danette and Timothy Blaine Moore were united in marriage in 2008 and they had two daughters. After their marriage they lived in Iowa. The family of five have resided in Gower, MO for the past 9 years.

Danette was a compassionate caring person who spent her entire life serving and caring for others-in her work and personal life. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Deana Lyn Derby; her father, Dearn Lee Bryan; her grandma, Frances Pauline (McAtee) Brummitt; and an uncle, Russell William Blattner. Rest in Peace as you join your family in Heaven.

Danette is survived by her husband, Tim Moore; her children, Tyler Moore, Eric Lohse, Tillie Moore and Molly Moore; her mother, Bertha Louise (Lou) Bryan of Grinnell, Iowa; her brother, Don (Pam) Bryan of Turney, MO; and her brother-in-law, Joe Derby of Grinnell, Iowa; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Denzil L. and Virginia Kay Moore; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Douglas (Carrie) Moore, Dwayne (Debbie) Moore, Tom Moore, and Pam (Don) Bryan; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1st at the First Baptist Church in Gower.
