Rodney Gene Gasper, 53, of Cowgill, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 at a Hamilton, MO health care facility.
He was born August 11, 1972 in St Joseph, son of Mary and Robert Gasper. Rodney was a 1990 graduate of Mid-Buchanan High School. He worked as an Installer with both Time Warner Cable and AT&T. Rodney enjoyed fishing, spending time with his dogs, and was proud of his hot wheel collection. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: his longtime companion, Cheryl Wilson of the home, brother, Harry (Sandy) Gasper of Hamilton, MO, step-children, Brittani (Chandler) Bartlett, Alayna Wilson, and Jeffery Wilson, all of Hamilton, MO, and two grandchildren, Talon and Jackson Bartlett.
Mr. Gasper has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. Memorials are requested to the Friends of the Animal Shelter in St. Joseph.
