Thomas Wilson Heath, 83, of Wathena, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Born on August 30, 1942, in Mound City, Missouri, Tom was the beloved son of the late Harry H and Vergene G Heath. His life was a vibrant tapestry woven with dedication, passion, and an extraordinary ability to connect with people. Tom built a distinguished career as an exceptional salesman, a path that ultimately led him to own and successfully operate insurance agencies in Wathena and Highland, Kansas.

Beyond his professional achievements, Tom's heart belonged to his faith, his family, and his many passions. He cherished his children and grandchildren dearly, finding immense joy in the gospel, and sharing his musical gift as a singer in his gospel quartet. An avid golfer, he celebrated a memorable moment on October 10, 2012, when he achieved a hole-in-one on hole #16 at Fairview Golf Course. Tom was also a devoted fan of his beloved Jayhawks.

Known for his incredibly outgoing and social nature, Tom had a remarkable way of making everyone feel like a friend. It seemed everywhere he went, he encountered someone he knew. His contagious spirit and genuine warmth made him widely admired and well-liked by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was a man deeply dedicated to God, his family, and his friends.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Marie Heath. He leaves a lasting legacy through his children: Kelly L McDonald; T Shane Heath and his wife Kathy, along with their children Torie, Payden, Shelbie, and Kylee; and Jeffrey N Heath and his wife Amanda, with their children Madi, Justyn, Joslynn, and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry H and Vergene G Heath, and his brothers, Richard (Dick) Heath and Jim Heath.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grace Calvary Chapel, located at 5103 S 50th St, Saint Joseph, MO 64507. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either Blue Baptist Prison Ministry, PO Box 194, Connerville, OK, or Hosanna Christian School, Saint Joseph, MO.
