George Ashton Howard, Jr., 47, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025, with his eldest daughter by his side.
He was born on April 7, 1978, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to the late George Ashton Howard, Sr. and Donita (Smith) Howard. George graduated from Anderson County High School and went on to build a devoted 20-year career as a manufacturing fabricator with Cutler Repaving, Inc.
George was a man of many passions. He enjoyed listening to music, hunting, fishing, and training dogs — but above all, he was a loving and devoted father to his six children. His presence brought joy, strength, and comfort to those fortunate enough to know him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
He is survived by his children: Aubrey (Dorryen), Andrew, Emma, Lydia, Jareth, and Ellenor; his grandchildren, Henry and Joel, along with two more little ones soon to arrive; his grandmother Ethel “Sami” Irvine; his mother, Donita Howard; and his siblings, Heather Bossa’ (Alan), Matthew Howard, Micah Howard (Sandra), Jeremy Howard, David Howard, and Chelsya Howard.
Cremation is under the direction of Simplify Cremations & Funerals. A celebration of George’s life will be held on June 13, 2026, with more details to be provided at a later date.
