A 61-year-old inmate serving a life sentence has died at the Chillicothe Correction Center.
Officials at the Chillicothe women’s prison report Margaret Hodges was pronounced dead just before midnight Saturday.
An autopsy has been ordered.
Hodges was serving a life-sentence for three counts of second-degree murder and armed criminal action from Johnson County and Platte County. She entered prison in June of 1998.
