A motorcycle driver is dead following a crash Sunday afternoon with a mini van in the area of South 22nd and Sacramento Streets.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports that at around 12:41pm on Sunday afternoon, officers responded to the area of South 22nd and Sacramento streets for a report of a minivan versus motorcycle crash. The motorcycle driver was ejected and sustained serious injuries.
The motorcycle driver was transported to Mosaic for his injuries and was later pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation by the St. Joseph Police Department Traffic Unit. No additional information is being released at this time. The road has since been reopened to traffic.
