A woman accused in connection with the alleged stabbing on August 10th at the Museum Hill Apartments in St. Joseph faced a preliminary hearing on Thursday.
Jabreon Johnson appeared before Judge Rebecca Spencer. Johnson first appeared in court on August 12th and faced Spencer for the preliminary hearing which was to address the motion and set bond. The motion and bond were delayed as Judge Spencer granted the request by Johnson's legal counsel for a mental health evaluation.
The evaluation has been scheduled for September. A follow up hearing will happen after reults from the evaluation are submitted. Johnson faces charges including first-degree assault and attempted assault.
