DEKALB COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Saturday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1996 Winnebago driven by a 69-year-old Hiawatha, Kansas, man was northbound on MO 33 at U.S. 36 approximately two and one half miles west of Osborn. The driver failed to yield. An eastbound 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by a 55-year-old Cameron woman struck the rear drivers side of the motorhome. After impact the van rolled onto its top.
EMS transported the 55-year-old driver to Mosaic Life Care. The Kansas driver was not injured. The 55-year-old was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
