ATCHISON COUNTY—A Kansas man arrested a year ago for alleged domestic battery is accused of a similar crime this week.
On Tuesday, police arrested 42-year-old Richard D. Burge II, of Atchison, on a District Court warrant for domestic battery and criminal damage to property and District Court warrants on four counts of failure to appear in court, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
In July of 2022, he was booked into jail in Atchison on a requested charge of domestic battery for altercation at a residence 1200 Block of Kansas Avenue in Atchison, according to online jail records.
