NODAWAY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Saturday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Kawasaki Vulcan driven by a 35-year-old Carrollton was eastbound on Route M five and one half miles east of Guilford. The driver failed to negotiate a cure. The motorcycle traveled off the south side of the road down an embankment, struck a ditch, overturned and the driver was ejected.
EMS transported the driver to Mosaic in Maryville where he was pronounced deceased. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
