ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Sunday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Dodge Dakota driven by Joshua L. Pike, 33, King City, was northbound on U.S. 169 a mile and one half north of Avenue City.
The pickup traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
Andrew County EMS transported an 8-year-old male passenger to Mosaic Life Care. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, chose to seek medical attention later, according to the MSHP.
