ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for an alleged violent weekend incident.
On Sunday, police arrested 31-year-old Shaina D. Burton of Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
She remains jailed on requested charges of assault and criminal damage to property in the 1300 block North 6th Street. Her bond is set at $2500, according to online jail records. Police released no additional details.
